Responsibilities

• Be the overall architect for new client implementations 
• Meet with pre-sales teams to review potential new client requirements 
• Assess requirements and provide feasibility feedback. 
• Interact with all Engineering teams to ensure scope and effort estimates are agreed prior to contract signing. 
• Be the point-of-contact between the sales team and the Engineering teams for customization feasibility evaluation and estimation. 
• Understand in-depth the full architectural stack spanning the ETL processes and BI Tool Engine capabilities. 
• Translate client requirements into technical design documents for complex customizations. (Client-meetings will require travel to client sites.)

Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years in all aspects of business intelligence architecture (ETL, BI engine, Reporting) 
• 2+ years Big Data Hadoop ETL experience with 20TB+ 
• 5-7+ years large relational database experience (Oracle, Netezza) of 10TB+ 
• Experience architecting automated ETL processes in a Hadoop environment 
• Understanding of end-to-end BI architecture, with particular focus on optimal definitions for complex calculations (Database vs. BI tool vs. Report or combinations of them) 
• Strong understanding of math concepts relative to BI reporting 
• Experience interacting with clients to discuss and understand client calculation requirements. 
• Experience translating client requirements into technical architecture solutions
